- I didn’t go to a fancy design school. I cut my teeth on the job: in the war room, at client meetings, on press checks, and working late into the night. I began my career in 2001 interning at Hinge Inc., a prominent branding firm in Washington DC, and quickly worked my way up the ranks. After relocating to Chicago and freelancing for a number of years, I joined the twoxfour team in 2009.
While still firmly rooted in branding & identity, I'm a jack of all trades. Whether art directing ad campaigns for Atkore International, designing marketing collateral for Wrangler Jeans, creating a logo system for Navy Pier, crafting a website for WheelWorks, or developing an iPhone app for the Chicago Bears, I approach every project conceptually and with acute attention to detail.
I'm adept in the full Adobe creative suite, and proficient in (X)HTML, CSS and flash. Among my distinctions, I was the 1st place winner of the Art Director’s Club of Metropolitan Washington’s 54th annual show in the signage/environmental graphics category and was most recently published in Taschen’s “Design for Obama”.
